Meet Dr Lauren

I’m Dr Lauren Jamieson — a medically trained doctor, aesthetic practitioner, trainer and the founder of Dr Lauren Medical Aesthetics.

I created the Associate Practitioner Programme because I’ve seen, time and time again, how talented clinicians can feel stuck once they qualify.

Clinical skill is essential — but on its own, it isn’t enough.

To truly thrive in aesthetics, you need mentorship, structure, business understanding and a supportive professional environment that allows you to grow with confidence.

Over the years, I’ve worked with clinicians at every stage of their journey. What excites me most is helping practitioners move from doing treatments to building a sustainable, fulfilling career — one that balances clinical excellence with business insight, patient trust and long-term progression.

The APP was designed to be more than a place to work. It’s a professional home — a collegiate, collaborative space where peers support each other, share experiences, learn together and genuinely enjoy being part of a like-minded group.

Where high standards and hard work coexist with warmth, humour and a sense of belonging.

When you join us, you’re stepping into a programme shaped by years of hospital medicine, general practice, aesthetic training and clinic ownership — built for clinicians who want to grow, not just get by.

I can’t wait to welcome you, introduce you to the team and show you what’s possible when clinical skill, business understanding and the right community come together.

Open Evening FAQ

This evening is designed for aesthetic clinicians who are qualified or nearing qualification and are exploring their next step. It’s particularly suited to those looking for mentorship, structure and a professional home within a doctor-led clinic.

You don’t need to be fully established, but you should be on your way into aesthetics or ready for in-clinic practice. If you’re unsure whether this is the right stage for you, the open evening is a great way to gain clarity.

No. There’s absolutely no pressure to join on the night. The aim is to give you an honest insight into the programme so you can decide whether it feels like the right fit for you.
Once you’ve submitted the form, we’ll confirm attendance by email. Places are limited to keep the evening relaxed and meaningful.

Yes — there will be plenty of time for questions and open conversation. This is an opportunity to talk through where you’re at and what you’re looking for next.

Absolutely. Many clinicians attend because they’re curious, feeling stuck, or wanting to understand what’s possible. The open evening is about exploration, not commitment.
