Summer Skin Sensation

Thursday, 20th June 2024, was a warm, sunny evening – perfect for our Summer Skin Sensation event at ORA Bar @ Rocca in Hamilton!

At Dr. Lauren Medical Aesthetics, we are becoming known for our “skincare parties,” and this event was no exception. It was a wonderful opportunity to educate and encourage our patients to look after their skin before, during, and after the key summer season.

After all, who doesn’t want to look and feel glowing in their summer holiday photos?

As an aesthetic professional, I am incredibly passionate about educating my patients. In many ways, I see that as my main role. My amazing team of Skin Therapists – Lynn, Megan, and Steph – share this commitment.

For this event, our focus was on how to get the most out of your skincare routine during the summer. Often, summer means more sun exposure, holidays, and breaking from our usual routines. This can lead to less attention being paid to our skin.

And that’s okay as long as we follow some basic principles. Prepping our skin, caring for it while on holiday (don’t forget the SPF!), and nourishing it after sun exposure can make a huge difference.

What I loved most about this event was speaking to a select group of patients who were genuinely interested in learning how to care for their skin over the holiday season. It was also a great opportunity for my Skin Therapist team to hear me speak about this in public for the first time.

Of course, we demonstrated our beloved HydraFacial treatment, which is perfect for achieving a pre-and post-holiday glow and hydration. We also had a Speed Skin Scan to check hydration levels along with an SPF stand.

Remember – if you find an SPF you like, you’re more likely to use it!

The evening was filled with fizz, engaging questions, and plenty of hydration.

It was truly sensational!
