Sculptra Masterclass, London

As an aesthetic doctor, my commitment is to provide evidence-based treatments that help optimise your aesthetic health and well-being.

This summer, I took the opportunity to train in a fascinating treatment called Sculptra – a bio stimulator that’s been around for 25 years but has recently gained a resurgence thanks to advancements in formulation.

Sculptra is different from traditional dermal fillers.

While fillers provide immediate volume, Sculptra works beneath the surface, stimulating your skin’s natural collagen and elastin production. It’s a treatment that improves skin quality, enhances facial lift and structure, and avoids the risk of looking overdone or unnatural.

On Tuesday, 12th November 2024, I attended a Sculptra Masterclass in London, hosted by Galderma, the company behind this innovative treatment.

Nearly 200 experienced aesthetic clinicians gathered to hear from an international panel of speakers who shared their extensive expertise with Sculptra. These industry leaders explained how incorporating Sculptra into their practices has elevated patient results—reminding us all of why we do what we do: to deliver outcomes that truly enhance people’s confidence and well-being.

I’m proud to share that Dr Lauren Medical Aesthetics is one of the few clinics in Scotland offering Sculptra treatments.

What’s particularly exciting about this technology is its versatility. By stimulating the foundational layer of the skin, Sculptra promotes collagen and elastin production for results that can last up to two years

It’s a fantastic option for almost any patient looking to rejuvenate their appearance in a natural yet impactful way.

As always, my priority is ensuring you receive the highest-quality, scientifically-backed care. I’m so excited to bring this treatment to our clinic and work with you to achieve your aesthetic goals.

Peptide Power: How Cell Signalling Creates Younger Skin

For decades, skincare focused almost entirely on the surface: exfoliate, hydrate, smooth, repeat. New World Order: The Rise of Regenerative Aesthetics

When cosmetic medicine first started making headlines, it was because it had everyone looking frozen in time. For many years, most popular anti-ageing treatments followed a familiar formula of “filling and freezing,” built around volume replacement and muscle relaxation. This approach often favoured quick visual results over long-term skin health.
