Nurse Sami’s Story

2015 — The Beginning
Qualified in Adult Nursing at the University of the West of Scotland and began her nursing career. Compassion, patient care and clinical precision formed the foundation of everything that came next.
2016: First Steps Into Aesthetics
Started her aesthetics journey with foundation training in dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments while working within cosmetic surgery. This early exposure shaped her interest in natural, medically-led facial aesthetics.
2017–2022: Clinical Depth & Surgical Experience
Worked across NHS and private sector nursing, specialising in renal surgical care. These years strengthened her clinical decision-making, patient assessment skills and ability to work under pressure — qualities that now define her aesthetic practice.
2022: Returning to Aesthetics With Purpose
Re-immersed herself in aesthetic practice with intensive retraining. Completed supervised practice and mentorship under Dr Lauren, building advanced competency in fillers, toxins and medical-grade skin treatments.
2021–Present: Continuous Education & Mastery

Sami has committed to ongoing training, keeping her practice aligned with the highest standards in medical aesthetics. Recent education includes:

2025: Prescribing - A Milestone Achieved

In 2025, Nurse Sami completed her independent prescribing qualification - a defining moment in her nursing and aesthetics career. After months of rigorous study, clinical practice and dedication alongside her work in clinic, qualifying as a prescriber became one of her proudest achievements.

This milestone allows her to offer a more seamless, clinically robust experience for her patients and to advise our Associate Practitioners, marking a new chapter in her growth within the Dr Lauren Medical Aesthetics team.

Nurse Sami - FAQ

Nurse Sami provides a range of anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, and medical skin treatments such as skin boosters and bio-stimulators. Her full treatment list can be found under the “Nurse Sami” section of the clinic price list.

All aesthetic treatments carry some degree of risk. During your consultation, Nurse Sami will talk you through these in detail so you are fully informed before making any decisions.

Nurse Sami is available in clinic on Thursdays and occasional Saturdays. You can book directly through the clinic website under “Nurse Sami.”
Consultations with Nurse Sami are free. They are an important part of understanding your goals, assessing your suitability and planning your treatment journey.
No – there is no obligation to proceed. Nurse Sami wants every patient to feel completely informed and confident before booking any treatment.
