A Viennese Adventure with Croma Pharma: Behind the Scenes of World-Class Dermal Fillers

This Halloween, on the 31st of October, I had the privilege of traveling to Vienna to visit the headquarters and manufacturing facility of Croma Pharma—the incredible company behind the dermal fillers I’ve trusted since the very start of Dr. Lauren Medical Aesthetics.

Accompanied by a fantastic group of esteemed aesthetic colleagues—including doctors, dentists, and nurses from across the UK – we were given an exclusive insight into what makes Croma such a standout name in aesthetics.

From Family Legacy to Industry Leader

We began the day with engaging presentations about Croma’s inspiring history. Founded and still led by a passionate family of pharmacists, their journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

From their long-standing expertise in dermal fillers to their groundbreaking achievement as the first company in the world to secure Medical Device Regulation certification for their fillers, it’s clear that Croma is setting the gold standard for the industry.

A Peek Inside the Manufacturing Process

One of the most exciting parts of the trip was seeing the dermal fillers being made in real-time!

The level of precision and quality control that goes into every product was incredible to witness. I even got to make my own hyaluronic acid—a fun and fascinating experience (and yes, you can ask to see it when you’re in the clinic!)

Innovation Meets Expertise

The visit also offered an exclusive preview of Croma’s upcoming innovations, which left me feeling inspired about the future of dermal filler technology.

A personal highlight?

Winning a friendly competition by identifying the different Croma fillers just by injecting them – talk about putting my skills to the test!

Why Croma Stands Out

I’ve always been very intentional about the brands I choose to align with in both my clinical practice and my business.

Croma has always been more than just a supplier to me; they’re a true industry partner. Their unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and innovation gives me complete confidence in their products, and their fillers consistently deliver exceptional results for my patients.

Looking Ahead

This trip was a fantastic reminder of why I do what I do. It’s not just about the treatments—it’s about being part of a community that’s constantly raising the bar in aesthetics. Croma, thank you for a wonderful experience, and here’s to continuing to achieve amazing results together!
